Forgive for you have been forgiven
How do you respond when you have been treated unfairly? Do you forgive and don't judge. Jesus said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Could my being treated wrong even began to compare to the injustice done to our Lord?
If you do not forgive it can eat you alive. You will be filled with bitterness and anger. It will rob your heart of peace and joy and fellowship with God and others. It is like a cancer of the heart.
It is especially hard when the other person doesn't even acknowledge the wrong they have done to you. When they keep justifying it in their own mind and to you. To stuff your feelings or be in denial about them will only make the anger grow. Your judgement of the wrong done must just be taken to the Lord and left there. You must forgive as you have been forgiven. Jesus knows your heart and your intensions. Things of this world cannot go with you. Ask the Lord to work a miracle in your heart where you can let go. Pray against self righteousness. Rest in the finished work of Christ on their behalf as well as yours. Being unjustly treated and hurt can turn to sin in your own heart. Keep running back to Jesus for a miracle of forgiveness. That is where there is freedom. Bitterness will surely come to you if it is not dealt with. No loss can compare to the gifts of God that is yours as a result of a pure heart before Him
